Crash on startup since iOS 8

This was one of my favorite--if not my favorite--platformers on iPhone. The controls arent perfect (nor could I expect any better), and the game itself can be frustrating at times (in a good way), but overall I find it beyond reproach.

Unfortunately, I havent been able to play this game for months. Yet Ive seen practically no mention of such a problem among the community. The developer seems to have abandoned this version of the game. I should mention I have not attempted a reinstall of this game for fear of losing my progress. (This may change. I am losing hope.)

I cannot vouch for the value of this game, as I got it for free. It took me many enjoyable hours to reach the end. I loved the music and art style. I would never have downloaded it for $9. I would recommend it, If I knew the game were functional on others systems.
