Simple yet hard, reminds me of Kirby. For 1$ its not that bad exept kind short.

Mutant Mudds is an amazing tribute to the 2D platformers a lot of us grew up with. I appreciate the fact that they added such difficulty level. It reminds you of classics like Megaman, Contra, and the former NES Super Mario Bros. entries, with the usual "Die-Learn-Try again" formula. If you grew up playing classics like those, this is a must-have for you. Excellent game Renegade Kid

Really fun and addictive. One of the only games Ive tried to get 100% in. Cant wait for #2!!

This excellent platformer has polished design and is quite addictive. It is as repetitive as old NES titles were but you get plus value by revisiting the same levels with new gears and gaining access to new areas. As challenging and fun as, lets say Yoshis Island. When Dave reviewed it at appspy he must have been in a bad mood to give it a 3, this is worth a big 5 and it is well spent money.

Such a great game. Please make another one just like this. I will be waiting patiently..

This is arguably the best platformer on iOS. Classic gameplay with a twist, perfect difficulty, and lots of bonus secrets. That being said, the lack of 3D effect really hurts it. On certain levels you cant distinguish the mid-ground from the foreground. This will make you jump for platforms that are not on the same plane as you are. Furthermore, this version is missing 20 levels that are on the PC and 3DS versions. At the end of the day, if this is the only way you can play Mutant Mudds then by all means get it. However, if you can play this on PC or 3DS ( the definitive version) then you should probably hold out on this version.

Great game and everything but the App Icon looks like crap!!!

Best game I found so far with the most replay value, good controls and no annoying ads. Unfortunately it doesnt work any more since the last iOS update. Please fix that!!!

This is a good game except I find its really hard to complete the levels. I would make the purple disappearing platforms last longer because I always fall off.

It is really an awesome game. Very addictive and having 60 levels it is long enough to worth the money you pay. The controller is difficult at the beginning as the jet pack is working wired. It is nonlinear. However , your gonna love it because of it.

Great app, but you need to fix the current problem with iOS 8

Its a run-of-the-mill uninspired retro styled 2d platformer/shoot em up. Your character moves really slowly, the gun feels awful, the enemies are all the same, the sound effects are all really annoying (especially the jetpack). Id give it zero stars if I could. Its that bad.

Please fix it for the ios 8 update i want to play soon as possible :(

Love the game but now it doesnt even work now. I see renegade kid pop up and then it crashes. (Im on iOS 8.1 on a 5th gen ipod)

Richtig gutes Retroflair, tolle Ideen , Top Gameplay, gut gemacht. FUN

This is/was a great game. However, since installing iOS 8, I, like the other recent reviewers, keep crashing at the Renegade Kid logo. Thus, I am unable to play the game, which makes me sad, as I was fairly close to completing it.

When trying to jump from a disappearing block, the jump switches into jetpack automatically. Thus one cannot gain enough height to reach the next block fall down and die. This has nothing to do with jump timing it is just bad controls.
